Description

Part of artist Faye’s FLOW series, this ceramic mug explores movement, touch and organic forms through an expressive mix of colour and texture.

The exterior is finished in a soft aqua glaze with flowing lime-toned lines, smoky grey cell-like shapes and small black, white and red accents. The irregular pattern references the idea of life continuously forming and changing, while the vivid red interior adds a strong contrast that makes the piece feel especially dynamic.

The sculptural handle is shaped through the pressure of Faye’s own fingers in the clay, preserving a direct trace of the making process. That tactile detail gives the mug a more personal, hand-formed quality and makes each piece feel slightly different.

Bold, unconventional and full of movement, this FLOW mug sits somewhere between functional tableware and a small piece of contemporary ceramic art.
